Our mission is to disseminate resource information from non-profit, for profit, public agencies, and faith-based organizations and providing assistance in activating the information and resources.

ALL ABOUT US

The New Life Changing Information Resource Center opened in September 2021 as a collaborative partnership with community non-profit agencies and organizations, foundations, local businesses, the public sector, and the faith-based community of St. Lucie County Florida. The Resource Center provides information and identification of resources to the community from nonprofit and for-profit organizations and assists those citizens needing guidance in accessing those resources. This is building a more informed citizenry and healthier and stronger communities.

The New Life Changing Resource Center is an arm of New Life Christian Fellowship Church, Inc., located on the main corridor of Avenue D in Fort Pierce, Florida. It was founded by Dr. Pinkie Hendley, Pastor of New Life Christian Fellowship Church, Inc.

We will continually update, analyze, synthesize, and disseminate pertinent information to the community, and likewise, we will continually receive information from our partners. This reciprocal process of exchanging information for the benefit of the community can strengthen the different services and empower those being served, and certainly help with capacity building among our non-profit, for-profit, and public organizations.

WEEKLY CHAT AND CHEW AND DO

EVERY WEDNESDAY

9:00am - 10:30am

Weekly conversations with agencies about services impacting the community. We leave with a task of bringing the community and the agency together.

Upon request, we assist citizens needing guidance and access to the information through the use of technology, direct connections, and identifying other services.

LAW ENFORCEMENT PARTNERSHIPS

There are weekly interactive discussions with the Fort Pierce Police Department, The Port St. Lucie Police Department and the St. Lucie County Sheriff Department . Officers and citizens get to discuss concerns, make suggestions for better interactions, and share experiences. Greater understanding of policies and changes in policies have occurred.

INSPIRING GEMS PROJECT

Inspiring Gems is a project of 10-15 girls between the ages of 9-13 years of age. Activities includes enhancing self esteem, entrepreneurial skills, and community involvement activities. After an interview, participants are placed in appropriate groups and will advance to next level of “gem” based on completion of assigned tasks. They meet bimonthly.
